Have you tried running the battery right down then charging to 100%, after which you leave it plugged in for a further 2 hours to re calibrate it...or a factory reset?

I haven't. I have tried to run it right down and then charged it but haven't left it plugged in for 2 hours afterwards. Will try that. Motorola suggested the factory reset which I will do as a last resort. It always seems a bit of a faff to do it without losing lots of stuff.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

I've had no problems either before or after either update. Keeping a close eye on it though.0

Same here. Upgraded to KK as soon as it became available and phone running better than ever/faultlessly. Feel really sorry for those having problems but why would it not be a problem on all phones? Could it be to do with what apps people are using?0

can't see why it would if you were using exactly the same apps as you were before the update.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
To those affected, would a factory reset keep the upgraded OS version? Bit of a daft Q but one to eliminate.0

I have just bought a new unlocked MOTO G and as yet am undecided on what tariff/company to go with
Once i have decided , should i be doing as #20 did (or didnt) ?
I bought a locked one from Tesco and paid £2 for an unlock code of a ebay. I have now got an ovivo sim in.
Can't believe how easy it has all been. I upgraded to kitkat and it has been fine.
Nearly upgraded my iPhone 3GS to an iphone 5S and didn't cos don't use it enough. Though can't believe how good the Moto G is.
No wonder Which are really recommending it. A brilliant phone.
Paid £105 for the phone, £2 to unlock and £20 Ovivo SIM. So hopefully total outlay over 2 years will be £127Money SPENDING Expert0 -
OP Have you had the new update fix yet?
I got mine a couple of days ago its made my battery life better
My battery life did go down a bit with the KitKat upgrade but now is a lot better since the fix update
So if you have not had it yet hopefully you should get it very soon.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.
