Unlike Sky, when there is usually something watchable on somewhere at any time.

    Are you sure?

To be fair, Sky is expensive there is no doubt-but there is definitely stuff to watch (and worth watching) on at least one of the channels at any given time!

A more pertinent question might be is it worth the extra cost?

I could find nothing I wanted on either Saturday or Sunday evening
    Ended up on BBC4 again.
The only time I can guarantee to find something I like is on a Sunday with F1 or other live motorsport.
For fans of sport, it's on another planet compared to what we used to get but quality dramas etc haven't expanded exponentially.
Last night I watched Fleming, which I think I'd missed over the weekend but other than that, nothing piques my interest.
    Currently on BBC4 again
So yeah, plenty of stuff but unless you like sport or watch a lot of movies, you may be disappointed IME

True Detective is good but I've seen the first three already :(

There is good stuff but it's not there in the depth all the bandwidth allows, sport on the other hand ......

  • thanks all for advice think ill get a recordable freeview box as thats all im gonna miss really
:TIf your happy and you know it clap your hands :T
  • I tend to divide up the cost of my Sky package by the number of my family members, which makes me feel better and justifies the exorbitant monthly charges.

I am, of course, lying, it doesn't make me feel any better.
