Drop Down Menus Hidden By Banner

The banner / links bar at the top of the Credit Card Board is always to the front and the Forum Search and Quick Links drop down menus open behind this making them unusable from that board. Could a forum techy please have a look it

I can usually clear the problem by reloading the page.

Well they seem to have done something, but it's not changed the problem described by the OP.

Since the banner started. I would often get the banner first opening by what looked like a pop-up i.e. on accessing the board, the page would open and turn entirely black except for the banner itself. On the top RHS was an "X" and on clicking this, the banner appeared to close, or rather sink back into the page.

This doesn't seem to happen today, (the page just opens with the banner) but the banner is still obscuring the drop down menus.
