i have a couple of those myself
Not a patch on those who have papered the walls with them.....:D
However, joking aside, it is with regret that I am leaving HL (as so many others have noted, the ease of use of their web site is second to none) - however, II is so much cheaper for me because of the fixed fee - eight trades a year will almost certainly be sufficient.0 -
entirely agree.0

I wonder if the envelopes will become collectors items? After all, so few of them were ever issued. A bit like rare stamps.
Might hold on to them anyway ... for when I go crawling back to them when II implode.
Only joking folks, I have complete confidence.
Yes I do.
Really.
Honest.0 -
Even though I closed my HL account some time ago, after the FOS upheld my complaint against HL with regards to unfair treatment, I have received a huge wad of papers today from HL inviting me to use my ISA allowance, including the Investment Times, ISA application forms and what I understand from Le Loup to be a collectors item 1st class pre-paid envelope.
Fortunately it is recycing day tomorrow and I'll see if I can squeeze it all in the recycling box (minus the pre paid envelope which I'll post back with the menu for the local kebab house inside, although I might live to regret that one if the envelope becomes a collector's item).I came, I saw, I melted0 -

i mentioned in another thread
"a SIPP costs £120+VAT/yr, but then you don't get charged the £80 for your ISA."
can the charges be paid from cash in the Fund & Share account?0 -
yes, that was made clear to me too. but if you have a SIPP too, then there's no ISA charge, and it wasn't clear to me whether the SIPP charge can come from Cash in your F&S Account.0

Sorry, don't know the answer to that.0
