Jennifer I'm still not holding my breath!! Has the elusive 'Head of Client Contact' rung you yet like they said they were going to? They haven't rung me! Probably fictitious like the 'Transfers Team' and the 'Dividends Team' that nobody ever gets to speak to.... or perhaps they are wading through the 70 call logs/messages that are apparently on my account from all the times I have contacted them....
It would be nice if our facebook activity finally produced a positive result, but it is wrong that we are forced to resort to that in order to make them sit up and listen to their clients. They say they are 'sorry and very disappointed' to hear of our concerns and frustrations, and yet despite 70 communications between me and them my issues are still not resolved! Not that sorry and disappointed clearly....until their failings are made public!:rotfl:0 -
I'm currently waiting for the 'phone call from "Jimmy" who promised to 'phone me with an update on my missing holding within 5 days. That was 9 days ago....
And I'm now waiting for a response to my secure message of 2 days ago.
I've now made a formal complaint regarding the missing funds, so the clock is ticking.
I do hope your facebook comments do the trick for you and am watching with interest.0 -

I was contacted by Julie Baxter concerning the comments made on Facebook. She was very apologetc and stated that she is giving it the highest priority and will make sure outstanding dividends are paid on Monday. Referred to the high level of transfers and also the fact that FNZ is small, although why that slows dividends she had no answer far.
Hope more people will use Facebook/Twitter,0 -
I’d like to thank everyone who’s posted on II’s Facebook page.
Hopefully it will shame and embarrass them into sorting things out.
I’ve never used Facebook or Twitter - perhaps it’s time..!0 -

Got £50 compensation (as trading credit) for the slow transfer.
Also, since I didn't use my account whilst the transfer was taking place, they say they will waive the first quarter fee for next year. Its not amazing considering I have been waiting 7 months, but I accepted it. Now I'll have to wait until Feb/March to see if they will honour it.
If you have used their services whilst waiting for the transfer though (funded it via other means and traded), they might not offer you the same.
One minor annoying thing is that the trading credit might disappear each quarter, so as long as I haven't used it, I need to keep applying for them to re-credit it. They can't stop the system from clearing it out automatically. *sigh*.
HL was much easier and a slicker operation. I'm still considering going back to them, or, finding some middle ground where I use HL most of the time, but periodically transfer holdings over to II once they grow to an amount which makes the % fee prohibitive. I don't mind accepting an occasional transfer fee if it comes with much more convenience. Will have to give it further thought.

Jennifer, please keep us updated on whether your dividends get paid on Monday. I was told exactly the same thing by II 10 days ago but they failed to deliver. Lots of apologies from Julie Baxter for broken promises but still no dividends. II will not reveal what the problem is between them and FNZ but it was mentioned that II did not have the clout, due to its size (quote 'unlike say Barclays'), to get things moving. The matter is with a director, Douglas Boyce, who is never available to talk to II customers. :mad:0 -
Nope!
Given the trouble they’re having with paying dividends and transfers, I for one would be quite happy if they don’t go near this banana skin for a good while..!
Ugh! Just thinking about the mess they could make brings me out in a cold sweat.
I need a stiff drink now!
I queried II on the status of conversions several weeks ago as their website stated that conversion would take place between April and October 2014.
II stated that the process had begun and that conversions were being be processed on a rolling basis, fund by fund due to the sheer volume of funds available. So far none of my and my wife's funds have been converted, and between us we hold around 30 funds from various fund managers. I therefore think that it is extremely unlikely that the conversion process has begun. Perhaps another example of II being economically with the truth!
Has anyone received a secure message from II confirming a fund switch to a clean fund?0 -
Although it took around 5 months for my SIPP to be fully transferred across, I do not appear to have been charged the annual fee.
Is this normal, or have I been lucky !??0 -

This is normal, Darren. What will happen is that the first time you make a contribution into your SIPP they will take the fee straight out of it, with no warning or notification. So if you don't want them to plunder your SIPP contribution for the fee I suggest that before you pay it in you put an amount to cover the SIPP fee into your trading account.0
