Do you think it was Rebecca O’Keeffe’s funds transferring out..?
Well, they certainly weren't mine......mind you, I only waited eight weeks so counted myself lucky.......:D0 -
Then he can derive comfort from the assurances cited in post 528..........
I don't think so - we're already 4 months and counting. :-)
I suppose that because we started the process on the manual system we'll have to see it out to the bitter end.0 -
From today's Telegraph (Money Section)
"Britain's biggest investment brokers, including Hargreaves Lansdown, Fidelity Personal Investing and Interactive Investor have told Telegraph Money that the time it takes to transfer in and out of their on line platforms has fallen since the start of the year.
Brokers say that the process is improving because the vast majority of fund shops..........have signed up to a new electronic transfer service.
Rebecca O' Keeffe of Interactive Investor, the fund shop , said that since signing up to the system in August, transfer times had fallen to six days from around a month previously.
"Some have been even quicker - our record is 13 minutes......
I'm speechless......0 -

Are they going to sign up to a system that will deliver distributions in 13 minutes?.:rotfl:

I would regard even "around a month" as a minor miracle.
Quick poll - any readers of this thread manage "around a month"?Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -

No, took around 9 to 10 weeks start to finish…
5 weeks if you count “transfer time” as time from funds disappearing from old broker’s site to arriving at the new one. So, maybe by this measure.0 -
Has to be said that the Telegraph article is the funniest thing I have ever seen. 6 days who are they trying to kid.
Given that I have 2 transfers taking 5 months and not yet complete at 6 months (both to III who seem to rely on me telling them what they havent done rather than actually checking themselves) that must mean everyone elses have transferred in seconds ??????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I suggest you all email the Telegraph to tell them your experience
Perhaps I should ask them to start fron scratch on the new system?0 -
i'm now 7 months in, with holdings in both ISA and SIPP still showing with HL0

I just emailed Daily Mail about the dividends not paying out on time, trying to keep the pressure up on them. Hopefully they will publish it.
If it's true that they say fund transfer are quicker now (not that I believe them) this would encourage me to leave. Even if it might cost me several hundred pound to do so.0 -
6 months + - all funds arrived with a quite a bit of chasing towards the 'end'
Residual cash still sat in HL - apparently I should chase this with HL as II can't be bothered.
Is there any knack to sell funds and ensure the cash remains within the isa wrapper for a future move as in specie from these lot would seem hopeful. ?0
