Oh goodness I didn't think about that.....and I have a monthly dividend payment too so it will probably start in April for me! There will also no doubt be a huge mess up when it comes to calculating our final fund rebates on our filthy dirty funds!!! :rotfl:

...never mind trying to work out this years Consolidated Tax Voucher!:rotfl:
  • Got my reply about Marlborough Special Situations being converted to B class instead of P

"Our Fund Managers advised us of the clean class version for each dirty class fund available at the time of the conversion that we held on the platform. When the conversions are complete in April we will then be carrying out a final sweep to ensure that all funds are converted to the cleanest versions. This may involve changing the funds to a better, cleaner version of the fund.

We always want to ensure that our clients have the best options and we will endeavour to have this completed soon after the end of April 2016. "

They know that they’ve messed up some of the conversions, and are now trying to blame the fund managers..! I’d find their explanation more credible if I’d seen posts on this forum from customers of other brokers / fund supermarkets, with the same complaint.

But as long as they put things right reasonably promptly, I’ll get over it. If however they make any mistakes with the conversion of the conversions I’ll be furious!

My complaint to iii was passed to FOS (after formal response from iii) in Dec/15 and had 9 issues, the attached messages between myself and iii ran to 46 pages (white space suppressed) - all fully indexed by myself.
Basically iii regularly attempted to entice me to lose my FP14, transferred someone else's ISA to me (and confirmed the funds were mine), took the proceeds of a unit sale from my ISA to correct its error, locked my account when that was insufficient (for 3 months), took charges from the wrong account for pension transfers (even though it said it wouldn't), suggested I breach ISA regulations and still pays me the bonus units on the ISA items I should never have had.
Oh and is rude when I complaint about its errors.

I've suggested to FOS that iii's continuing errors are to prevent FOS completing its investigation!

    They are cheap though.

Blimey, sounds like your experience with them has been even worse than mine!! Cheap they may be, but that doesn't equate to good value!!

They sent me one of those for my SIPP for 2014-15 (even though I shouldn't need one). They missed out three dividends I had received, and added one that wasn't actually paid until this financial year.
I have had an argument, but it doesn't look as if they're going to correct it - so glad I won't actually have to show it to HMRC.

they are a good option for someone prepared to stay on top of them, and as xylo says, let's hold on to our £100s:cool:

..but having said that, when i sent them a message last sunday, you would think they'd have been able to respond by now (6 days later):whistle:.
