  • Hi,

yes, I've been doing that and they all seem ok, just thought I'd query it with them.
  • II Fund Conversions

Does anyone know what is supposed to happen when funds are converted? Are there rules for how II ought to be doing it?

I innocently thought the dirty funds would be sold on the same day as the clean funds were bought. This happened with he first conversion. Subsequent ones show the new funds being purchased the day before the old ones are sold (according to my trading account).

An earlier poster is checking them all and I guess I'm going to have to but it's a job I really don't want to have to spend time doing.

Mine also are apparently bought before being sold.
Of 6 done so far - 5 look fine.
The 6th Inv Per Global Eq Income Acc seems to show a loss of ~£100 odd.
Doesn't seem to reconcile with any combination of pricing for bought / sold dates of the 25th/26th ?

Looking forward to an explanation !
  • What's the best site to get daily fund prices from so I can check all this?

I use FT here, hit Markets > Market Data, then enter fund name or symbol.

You will get latest price, then above fund name, Historical Prices.

If you hit the down button beside fund name, you will get options for the dirty/clean version.

II usually give you the dirty/clean symbols in the email they send you.

This works for me, though juliamarsh may have a quicker method.

Isn't it great when you start looking at these things and it gets less and less clear.

So it appears that my Global Equity Income has been 'converted' to Global Equity despite a Z acc version being available of the Eq Income fund I used to own.

(the prices still don't reconcile correctly but that now appears a minor consideration in being ~ £100 down)

There's also proposed 'conversion' of other funds from acc to inc again despite acc clean versions being available.

Is there any coherent reason for these or is it II just not being very capable ?

Well maybe I shouldn't trust them but I just check II's prices on the day. If you go onto your trading history you can just click on the fund in question and it will bring the fund information and price up.

    .

That is very useful, thank you! Do you have a similar link that quotes historical fund 'dividend rates'? When II settle a dividend they quote the rate rounded to 2 decimal places only (although the beta version of their site does quote the full declared rate).
