Last time we moved five years ago the removal company supplied us with as many as wanted various size boxes included in their costs, we went with them as we had quotes from several companies and theirs was still competitive even with the boxes.
  • Try ebay, we bought 50 boxes, for £1.

They were from a proper removal company. Just pre used.
  • McDonald's boxes seem strong and sturdy. Most of mine are from there :) got them piled up in the hall right now lol.

My parents and I moved house in the past 4 years. Found boxes that held bottles of wine/spirits are good for books, DVDs, CDs. As these are strong and able to fit a reasonable number without being too heavy to carry.
