My bird always goes mental when I'm on the phone. I'll make a note to go in another room when I have to phone anyone in a call centre from now on.

Not to worry - I've had much worse!! It's more distracting than annoying

Fully agree. I work in customer service and trust me people who rant and scream and treat me like s*** get nothing more from me than I am required to do by the job. Nice people get the extra effort and help they deserve.

As you say interesting to note that some people have problems every day while some of us manage to go through our lives without making some underpaid sales assistant's life a misery.
