Spot on Ivan0 -
Well...don't stop there!!!
What happened??? Who sorted it??? Did the stroppy so-and-so have to back down??
LOL nothing too exciting.
I was really fed up at this point, was sick of waiting in line, so I took the clothes home asked MIL if she still had the receipt (she did) and took the clothes back a couple of days later and got a refund then spent the money in asda (I like their clothes better anyway lol)
Did mention the attitude I got from the girl on the till when I went for the refund but CS didn't seem at all interested, so I treat them with the same contempt they treat me now....I only ever use them if I can get something for nothing or near enough as0 -

When someone comes on on the phone and fromm the beginning of the call I can tell if they're going to be an absolute !!!!!! or really lovely and fantastic to deal with.
Ususally the ones that are absolute !!!!!! are the ones that have fowl language or act all high and mighty and are extreamly manipulative with little snide remarks thrown here and there, delibertly try to get you in a muddle and trap you or force you/back you into a corner. They're usually the ones that whisper when they think they cant be heard "F****** B*****" or shout it down the phone at you.
The lovely ones are the ones who calmly explain what they're calling about and ask politely what can be done with it. These are the ones I will give my time of day for to help and sort out their situation asap.
Remember when calling a call centre - the headsets we wear pick up EVERYTHING! Unless you put someone on hold/mute anything that you say in the background or with the mouth piece covered can still be heard.0 -

That's true. I was recently saving time by ringing round for insurance quotes while breastfeeding my baby.
One lad said "whats that funny squeaky noise in the background?" as he could hear baby sucking on my nippleHere I go again on my own....0 -

LOL
I've had many a thing at work, but one call really sticks out for me - on a sales quote a guy actually went and peed while I was talking to him.... and with that same guy, a bit further on in the call, he got a knock at the door and it was the police!!!!
The worst to get are people who have kids crying or scraming in the background, parents who are really nice on the phone but who roar a scream with obsenities to their sp or children or worse yet - people who have birds as pets! all you hear is tweet, chirp, tweet, chirp, all through the call lol0
