I've a few tulip bulbs left if anyone is interested.
I hear they could be scarce due to so many rotting because of the wet weather we've had this year.
o.i.e.o. £1000 each :cool:0 -
Money is great... I can exchange it for goods and services.
Why would I exchange a large sum of money... for less money? Some very strange people in this world.0 -

Circulated "good condition" coin just closed at £100 on ebay.

Money is the best way of telling how much money we have:

There have been lots of news items and comments about the Kew Gardens 50p with it's 'rare' tag as a result of the low mintage of 210,00.
I was wondering how much one of the 1992-1993 EU commemorative 50ps would be worth as they only minted 109,000 of them !0 -
A fool and their money are soon parted.
They may call me dizzy, but even I am not dumb enough to pay £310 for a 50p coin.
I wonder if the winning bidder will ever pay, or will this be another one of those media hypes that attracts brand new ebay bidders making bids in the £millions?
I must admit I did sell a 20p coin for a couple of quid on ebay a few years back because it didn't have a date on the reverse. I asked the buyer if he wanted any more, but never got a response back ... not even any feedback.
Have you got any more of the 20p's ?0 -
Talk about profiteering.
This seller has been trying to offload them for a month - sold one last month at £16.99.

Yesterday sold 3 more at £19.99 and ended the listing.
Reposted, starting at £22.99 and kept raising the price over a couple of hours to £39.99 ... and still sold 47 of them (over 20 at £39.99)

Again seller ended listing and reposted this time at £42.99 selling a further 14

Not bad for a few hours work at the most - sit back and watch the £££s roll in!
Notice the seller is hiding behind a PO BOX too
It's called business - buy something cheap, and resell for a higher price.0 -
Just got given one in my change from The Works. It's off to eBay for me now!0

My mother-in-law has offered one of these to the family. She got it in some change from a purchase. She's told the family: 'highest bidder gets it'. I just looked on ebay and they're selling fast - multiple bids on many listings. In 'completed listings' they seem to have sold for anything between 30 and 50 pounds, some even more.0
