What is an ECU please, and is it worth changing in the TV? Switching off at the wall is not much trouble for us though I have to say.

ECU = Electronic Control Unit, a and as to whether it's worth changing, that depends on how much it costs.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

I wouldn't worry. One of my bedside lamps (touch lamp) turns itself on!

My Mam & Dad's touch lamp which is in the hallway turns itself on and off when people walk by due to the vibrations....that could be your problem! ;) :rotfl:

Last week my hubby bought up my morning coffee before work.... sat in bed drinking it while watching the news, he said 'oh by the way' you left the kitchen radio on last nite before you came to bed - Errrr no I didn't, but didn't think anymore of it.

Tonight our son came home from work, we sat at table eating dinner, and he said he came downstairs last night to get some juice (we were in bed), and the radio came on by itself!! (he had no idea of the conversation we had last week)!!

    What is going on.......

I think someone wants you to know they are still around, try to take comfort from it ;) He doesn't want you to be frightened by it.

Maybe it is just me but I don't think making such an unfounded statement is helpful to the OP.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
