What's going on? What do you want to hear? You have a poltergeist that likes listening to the radio, or you need a new radio? What to you think it most likely?

I have an oven that came on all by itself, repair main came, put in a new ECU, it hasn't done it since.

Unplug it, or take out the batteries.

That'll stop it coming on by itself.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just feels a bit spooky - that's all.

My first concern wouldn't be spookiness it would be any risk of fire or electrical safety.

If this was ok, I'd turn off at the socket.

Clearly the ghost and your family are in sync in terms of the radio station and he/she likes to dance round your kitchen to the music.

Clearly a radio obsessed ghost. Does it have a preference for any particular station?

Edited to add: I got a new TV last year and one night I had it on just as background noise it when it suddenly switched itself off. I was seriously freaked out until my partner explained that, no, our TV is not possessed by evil forces, it is in fact set to switch itself off after 3 hours of inactivity :o

Not that much of a mystery now I've remembered who the OP is, and actually very very sad. :(

It won't be him, I'm so sorry.

Happens with our tv, it's been playing up for a year now. We went away for the weekend once and came back to a racket in the house. Wake up in the morning and it's on full blast downstairs. Not sure if some of our visitors may have unwittingly confused the timers while figuring out the remote (we tried to check but couldn't find anything) or the tv confused itself lol. Anyway we now turn it off at the switch.

What is an ECU please, and is it worth changing in the TV? Switching off at the wall is not much trouble for us though I have to say.
