they left the BPA and went to the IPC ( 01 oct 2013)

they are not listed on the BPA website and are listed on the IPC website

so no you did not check, whereas I did !

  • I have phoned up the BPA not 30 minutes ago and also called the company in question who advised me their BPA number was 30795. So I can only apologise by being misinformed by two different organisations.

well, if that is the case there has to be 2 companies with the same or similar names

UKPS is not listed on the BPA website at all and the only one with that name or similar is listed on the IPC website , right at the bottom , with (NW) after it

if you check the links I posted you will see that the company moved from the BPA to the IPC 5 months or so ago

let us hope you are correct and get a popla code

U K Parking Solutions are not listed on either site if you use that set of words

    then read this https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822
  • I called them again to confirm their registration and they are logged under another company name so they are definitely there

yep , finally found them on the BPA site at last

T R Luckins Limited t/as UK Parking Solutions

so I checked their website and they are BPA members , so I apologise but as you can see the names and acronyms used dont help when they clearly are not listed under U.K. on there but UKPS (NW) is on the IPC site which causes the confusion , who would look at T R Luckins Ltd ? ;)

so yes, get a popla code and then use the examples to draft a popla appeal up

I do not think we have any previous examples for them on here as it was UKPS (NW) that we have previous dealings with
  • Many thanks for the advice. Will give it a go and see how I get on.

In order to get a POPLA code, you have to appeal. Please read the NEWBIES sticky thread about how you should frame this and make sure you get it in on time.

If you want to win, then I suggest that you follow the advice of regular contributors and the sticky thread.

Come back with their reply and, if you like, your initial appeal.

Do not send in a POPLA appeal without flashing it up (redacted) here first.

Just to complete this thread, the OP's appeal was accepted and they gave up:

    ''Update on PPC Appeal

I recently asked for help regarding an appeal letter to UK Parking Solutions. I have today received a letter from them advising me that my appeal has been successful. Not sure why they have given in at such an early stage, but I did include all the reasons why I felt their invoice was not valid and they must have agreed.

So many thanks for the help and advice given as it helped me construct the letter which certainly did the job.''
