    Debt-free and Proud!
Spent £4.15 on Friday on clotted cream and scones! Then got some rolls (sausage for me and breakfast bap for DH) at the burger van. I want to include this sort of stuff in the grocery spends as this sort of thing (takeaways/eating out) is one of the biggest way we have been overspending recently. So now I have spent a total of £15.15.
We did go out for dinner last night but that was for our wedding anniversary (rather than we couldn't be bothered to cook of we just wanted to go out) so that will count as a "special occasion" spend.

Another NSD for me today. I'm not leaving the house so won't be tempted by bits & bobs.

You can also freeze eggs to use later in baking if needed. Break one into a bowl or measuring jug, beat it together, then put into an ice cube tray (I do them one at a time for the measuring thing for baking, I like knowing how many eggs I'm using!). Keep going until either your ice cube tray is full or you're out of eggs. Once they are frozen, pop them out and put them into a labelled zip top bag and keep them in the freezer. Easy access to eggs for baking any time. Hope that helps!

Just be sure to put them into the bag after they are frozen. I accidentally left some in the ice cube tray for a week before I remembered them and they had gotten funky and dried out on the top!

Well I've had an interesting May so far! No spends to report, as I've been abroad for a funeral. It all was so sudden :( I did get to surprise my parents, as they had no idea I was coming. It did well to break up all the sadness. I was back in the UK for a few hours, and am now sunning it up on our planned holiday in the Canaries. It's been an expensive week, but at least the holiday was budgeted! Grocery spends won't start for a week when we are home again.
