thanks for your response. I am not worried that it doesn't do what it is supposed to, I am worried that this product doesn't exist on the website, there is no company, no website, no helpdesk, nothing! if it goes wrong who do I call. There were so many Electrical goods on display at the auction but this was not apparent. It was then auctioned in between an IPad and then this Notebook and then another IPAD to make it seem something it wasn't.
The auction started at £40 then suddenly went to £200 and the auctioneer stopped the auction saying thats enough, we will not sell at £200 + fees we have 100 of them. How many of you want one? In hindsight, we were all taken for mugs!0 -

where is the consumers rights board? I am new to this site.:(0

You are suffering from Buyers Remorse - and this is not a reason to return. No-brand products are legion and sell for much less than the well known equivalents.
Since you should have done all this checking before you purchased - this is not a reason for return, especially if it works as advertised.0 -

Dear Fruit & Nutcase,
Thank you very much for your help.0 -
Dear All, Just wanted to update you on above - Refund laptop note book bought at auction. We received an email saying we could not refund as we signed a contract. My hubbie sent an email stating that we signed a contract for a Laptop which was not what we purchased at auction. It was not as stated as sold basically, it was not described as it was sold. He requested a refund on that basis otherwise threatened legal action. Within a few hours we received an emails stating on this Occasion, we will be offered a full refund. Sunday we collected our money and returned the item.!!
Yippeee.
Thank you all for your help.0 -
