Useful to know the 9 days timeline - Counting from when they received our valuation we are on working day 8. So fingers crossed it'll come through shortly!

How did they send the offer? Postal?

No, our MA told us. I asked if we will get an official confirmation in the post and he said not till the valuation is done, as that is the final step in the offer process.

Should we wait for this final offer before telling solicitors to go ahead with searches?

If you don't want to risk losing the money, then yes.

Well I've had the valuation so sign off and offer is what I'm waiting on. Confirmation from the lawyers that they are ready to proceed with draft contracts this morning so everything is waiting on Santander!

Our MA confirmed this (and that they had recognized the valuation had come back ok) in a similar way a week ago last Thursday - we are still waiting on formal offer for us / solicitor

That's what I'm worried about, ours is scheduled for Wednesday 26th and then at least another 2 week wait after that. Do you wish you'd used someone else now?
