Anrp ltd parking appeal rejected lost right to early bird discount advice please!

Hi all

In December I received a pnc from Anrp ltd on my window screen for £100 reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days.ifvi pay I forfeit my right to appeal.
I looked on this forum for advice and contacted legal advice as unsure on conflicting advice regarding waiting for the letter addressed to the registered keeper.the legal advice I was given was to not wait for a letter but to appeal within the stated 14 days. I did using a template from this website direct to Arno ltd.obviosly they rejected this appeal and did not address my points. But with a generic letter explaining their reference code.

The wrote back to me saying if I want to apeal to popla I need to write to them.i was in the process of doing this but in the meantime I have revived an outstanding notice' sayinig I owe £100 and the 'early bird discount has expired'.

Any advice since I an being penalised for appealing which makes me more angry than getting an unjust ticket please.

I have asked for legal advice but want some real experience.i have been told to write to Anrp again stating that is in fair to not allow the discount to stand during appeal and it is impossible to be snake to appeal and pay within 14 days.

Im worried that if I appeal to popla and that is rejected the fee goes up.i know that this is the kind of thing they prey on but I have gone with my advice and now suffering.

Thank you

You should have read the Newbies thread and stuck to the advice and procedure therin!

So go back to them now, demand a POPLA code forthwith and start getting your POPLA appeal together.

Once you have the bare bones sorted, post it up for further advice from here only!

But the NEWBIES thread tells you we have 100% record at POPLA. Especially easy against 'Trev the Clamp' and his mates at ANPR Ltd. (the joke of the parking forums, we know all about his lovely 'early bird discount'! LOL, wot a bargain...NOT!!). Report them to the BPA and DVLA for non-compliance in not sending you a POPLA code (email addies for complaints are in post #6 of the NEWBIES thread).

Come back when at POPLA stage and read post #3 of the NEWBIES thread. You are dealing with cretins and this is so easy to win at POPLA a monkey could do it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And when you do, point out that they have breached the BPA AOS Code of Practice in not sending the code immediately (all PPCs have been told this more than once), and you will include this breach as part of your POPLA appeal, as well as reporting them to the BPA and DVLA for that breach.

And you should report them. ANPR Ltd are an utter joke and the sooner they are booted out of the BPA the better. They flout the code of practice in every breath they take, every sentence they write.
  • Hi Everyone

Thanks for your replies I did read the advice and I spent basically all day every day researching, but I went to get legal advice from a solicitor who said to not wait for the letter to the Keeper and do the appeal right away. I did all this in the correct time frames.

The letter I received from them rejecting my appeal was dated 21/01/2014, In this letter they just told me to re consdider my appeal but if I wanted to appeal further to write to them for full details for POPLA.
I already have their details and know that I can appeal online, I also recall reading on this forum there were difficulties with their code and that they kept providing wrong codes when their code was infact the original ticket number.
The letter with the Outstanding charge was dated 12/02/2014

    Just to clarify you advice:
    1. To re write to ANRP Demanding a POPLA code and at the same time point out that they have breached the BPA AOS Code of Practice in not sending the code immediately (all PPCs have been told this more than once), and you will include this breach as part of your POPLA appeal, as well as reporting them to the BPA and DVLA for that breach.
    2. Reporting them to the BPA and DVLA for that breach.
    3. Await for that code and then appeal to POPLA- Following your?advice? Do I not have 28 days from the date of the first rejection letter. This Would mean I have missed the date.
    4. Do I state that I demand they freeze the fee?

How long are the BPA and the DVLA going to let these clowns get away with this?
I helped with two POPLA appeals over on CAG against Trev the dope and the dopettes, we had the usual "reconsider" letter the hidden/late POPLA code trick, and whilst the appeals were in progress the H&S sh1tigation letters and the draft claim form.

No doubt the way they carry on it will eventually come to them, but how long do we have to wait?
  • Hi Esmerobbo

    Have I missed the deadline?
  • Did you pay the solicitor for this "advice"?
  • No. I was legal advice I got from both CAB and my Trade Union Ll egaadvice
  • I had said i'd read all the forums

    Hi Esmerobbo

    Have I missed the deadline?

No not if they haven't issued a POPLA code, but when you get it, we will need to check it to ensure it is valid. (don't post it here PM it to someone trustworthy here)
They used to hide them, now they send them out out of time or very near hoping you miss the deadline.
Ask for the code then come back.

I know it can seem worrying but honestly this company and their litigation threats are comical.
