Luxor thank goodness I bet your so relieved x
Islandmaid, I'm also 5 ft 2 and size 16. I have big boobs and bum and find that I suit the 40 50's style dress you know off the shoulder pulled in at the waist and either knee length or in my case calf length as I hate my legs. I can also get away with a pencil skirt. Why not go the whole hog and have a little pillar box hat. Embrace your curves girl, you will look stunning:TStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

IM .... You may feel happier ordering stuff and trying it on at home? Monsoon and Coast also do nice wedding dresses at reasonable prices.
I find in wedding shops the assistants can be a bit snotty if you are not in your 20s and stick thin!
I was 41 when I got married and encountered a few of them lol.
Also a chiffon wrap or bolero makes you feel covered but is sheer and glam
Maybe look at a bit more of a v neck if you have boobage?0 -

IM - loving the dress but had to laugh at the header of 'Mother of the Bride'. Surely it would up-stage the bride and the model is certainly not of that age!!
I do love NPMs choice (Honeypie), the red underskirt makes it so striking and very flattering.
Bitsy - Good to hear you're ok, hope you get the help you need for DS.
Made cottage pie for tea which was very tasty with carrots and broccoli. Builder came round to look at the jobs he is going to do tomorrow, I also showed him another couple of things I would like doing in the future.
Take care. XX0
