Good luck Gemini. I passed the test as well and have my induction at 9.30 in the morning.
  • ohh good luck too stephs :D
  • Agreed with Chammy.

Your first set of questions will take a long time - it's to be expected. Your hourly pay may reach the heady heights of £3 or £4 for the first few hours - if you're lucky!

BUT - once you get past that, you'll soon get into the swing of it, and it's worth persevering. Your SR will assess your first 25-30 questions and give you constructive criticism on each of your answers, so like Chammy says, concentrate on making sure your spelling, punctuation and grammar is perfect and the content is the best you can get it. It will be a slow-going 30 questions, but after that you will have a much better grasp on what to type and where to find the answers that it'll just come naturally.

And don't forget you can skip 45% of all your questions, so no need to pour for hours over a tricky one!
  • Hi Chammy and Financialyunsavy
I'm a newbie to 63336 just started the first stage before the 30 question review..... it is a bit tricky i must admit. The clock ticking away gets to me and makes me over think and worry. I did my first 3 questions and go a bit of feedback not too bad. But could be a bit better. But i do think the key is not to panic and take my time. Which i will try again later today.
It reminds me of sitting my college and uni exams and the dreaded ticking clock.
Note to self "stay calm and do not over think"
  • haha yeh i know its funny what habits we get into. Completely forgetting the English language.
There is so much to read as well. Its an awful lot to take in.
Does it matter how long it takes us to reach the 30 questions review.....?
I used this service as a customer once and the answer i got was not relevant to me at all, must have got the wrong person.
How long you been doing this Chammy?
  • Haha. Yes same here he was who mentioned it to me. Lets hope it all goes well :-D

I had my review this morning and logged in a while ago to have a little go. I've answered three questions so far which haven't been too bad. My average answering time is 8.51 though.
  • My average time teeters around 2-2.5 minutes now, after about 3 months. It only took me a few weeks to get my speed up to that. Stephs, I think my time was somewhere around 8 minutes too when I first started!

I've not followed this up yet. I had the email and filled in the main form but am yet to sit the test. I don't think I will get it though as I am without of the 48 hours. Just as I was doing this my toddler hit a sleep regression and didnt go down til 10pm at night - Argh! So can't really start a job if I can't keep up with it! I think we are nearly safe now so I will see how tonight goes and maybe reapply under a different email address. Or should I just send back in this one?
  • i think the key at the start is not to rush your answers. make sure the quality is there and all punctuation and spelling etc correct. I did have a bash at a "hard" question earlier. so far ive done about 7 of my 30 before the first review... i was trying to answer quickly at first but now im down to the 8 min mark i believe.
Yes ive heard about moneyshed mans success. would be good to get to that.
Has anyone failed the 30 question mark review? so hope i do well at this.
    Good luck everyone :D
