  • I got my application email through this afternoon, and I've filled it in and sent it back tonight. Fingers crossed!
  • I worked for AQA/63336 for many years but quit when I found that it became impossible to earn what I consider to be an acceptable hourly rate. This was some time ago, so the situation may have changed.

My advice would be to make sure that your test answers don't contain any errors; spelling, punctuation, grammar, length and content are all vital.

Good luck to those who apply.
  • I decided to go for this and they sent an application form out (yay). However, I'm filling out the application but stuck where it says there MUST be two references. I don't have any!

I can put down the employment history it wants and I suppose for one I can give a name and contact number although it's not ideal for a reference really (due to time passed). But I have nothing for the second. The manager and assistant manager left (not that I can remember their names anyway lol) and the company changed its name so even providing a general phone number is going to look odd lol.

It's been too long since school/college to put that instead.

Anyone else had a problem with references? I don't want it not to be processed just because of this :( Not sure what's best to do and I want this sent in asap.
  • Have you anyone who could act as a character reference? Someone perhaps unrelated, or who knows you in a professional capacity (not neccessarily a boss/employer) - maybe a co-worker or someone who has worked alongside you?

I'm filling in the application now - good luck to everyone else who has applied!

Sadly the short answer to that is no.

63336 didn't take up references when I started working for them; however, that was a long time ago and this may now have changed.

Even if they don't actually take them up I still need to provide something as otherwise they may see it's blank and not process it. I don't want to make something up.
  • Well, I submitted my test and application last night about 10.30p.m. - heard back this morning saying I passed the test! :j

They seem quite on the ball, which is good. Now I just need to fill in an agreement and send back to them, and I'd imagine I'm good to go.

I gave two references, but I'm guessing they haven't chased them yet since they were so quick in approving my test.

My experience was much the same. You had to try to answer a mix of 'easy' and 'difficult' questions - the difficult ones were ones that a few people had already failed to answer. Some of these difficult questions took forever and a day to research, and for the same flat payment per question as the easy ones which took seconds. Sometimes I would log in and there would only be difficult questions available. When it got busy there was more chance of getting a decent run of answerable questions. I remember they had a bank of saved answers to common questions, but they weren't keen on you using many of these either - they wanted new answers where possible.

My experience is also a few years out of date though, so it may have improved!
