How many tweets before you won something?

Using twitaculous can disqualify you as it's entry via a third party app - so make sure you read the rules first (I've seen it on some of the larger companies and some independent companies don't like the use of it)

Twitter jail occurs if you do more than 30 RT or tweets in the space of half an hour. If you're more active user, with a higher follow/follower ratio i think you can get away with over 100, which is useful on a Friday.

I wouldn't not do it, but it just takes so long to search for things you want, and like I said, I've won some nice things on there. But, too many people have multiple accounts now/cheat/RT a million times. x

I've tweeted about 1200 times and only won something that was 'next 10 RTs will win...', no draws (yet?).

So seems general census is dont rely on twitter and dont spend ages,
but as we always say it does only take 1 entry, so one day whether a month a year you will get something, but dont go ott on it.

Ive got around 7000 tweets and have only ever won around 7/8 prizes.

so about a prize every 1000 tweets!

I'm on 21000 tweets. When I first started using it I just entered the ones on here and never won.. started a couple of years ago. But since I got an iphone and downloaded the app last August I enter a lot more as only takes a few moments of my time and since then I have started winning. This year so far I have won a few little things like make up and books and a now tv box but this week I won a Legoland family pass and today I won a team gb winter Olympics kit. So keep plugging away..

i dont know my figures i dont take a lot of notice, i do find tho that certain ppl are always at the top like someone else mentioned... Ive always wondered of those that dont just RT but write all the shizzle like " eek #needthiswin i cant manage without this #tubeofsmarties in my life "eek" i have RT too....................... *rolls eyes** end up winning more as their names stick out more as they are constanting finding time to write over and over again

I created a twitter account just for entering comps about a month ago. Since then I've won twice (Peroni Chiller Box from Zizzi and a Stash of Love Heart Sweets from Love Hearts/Swizzels) and BOTH were photo upload comps so perhaps that made a difference?

I only enter the twitter comps I find in this forum and I do it just because it's so quick and no forms to fill in! Im currently at 335 tweets.

I've only been comping a couple of weeks, but have entered all the Twitter comps on MSE that take my fancy. I'm quietly hopeful, but maybe I shouldn't be - some of the stats above have me feeling a little :eek:!
