How many tweets before you won something?

I have just started on twitter too , Seem quick to enter but as people have said a lot of people on twitter although i have seen some with not many retweeted so you never know. Good luck

I used to do twitter and win regularly. I've got 23,000 tweets and approx about 150 prizes won. Varying from an Xbox and £450 books and vouchers to some fridge magnets.

I don't do them anymore, I don't really have the time to sit and search for local comps and there's too many people with multiple accounts and cheating that I gave up.

It is really good for local comps though if you're interested in any of those, some of the local boutique shops around here do do goo giveaways.

Its a case of searching and entering x

I don't enter that many twitter comps, only for prizes I really want to win and with a company I don't mind following.

But I have entered about 2200 twitter comps over 2 years and I have only won 1, and that was right at the beginning of entering (I had probably only entered about 100 at the time!) It was a nice prize - a child's toy worth about £30 if I remember correctly.

That's a really good tip. I have recently moved house and lots of the local village shops, cafes, hairdressers and garden centres here often do competitions on their twitter feed. Normally it's small prizes like free breakfast or a free haircut, but really handy if you're a local.
I've found lots of these local companies haven't many followers, sometimes less than 100, so the number of entries must be really low.

I had my first Twitter win the other day and I was nearly at 3,000 tweets!!

I had my first win at +/- 1800 - a £10 Aldi voucher and then my second, +/- 2500 tweets a £50 Pizza Express gift card.

Keep going, it's one of the easiest methods of comping lol

I won my first Twitter prize after 47 tweets on 23 Nov 2011. It was for a signed Steel Panther CD :j:j:j.

After a further 1,763 tweets (mostly for comps) I have not won anything since :cool:
