How many tweets before you won something?

Hey, just thought it would be interesting to see how many tweets you've done before winning? I've just started doing twitter comps about 2 weeks now, I have 693 tweets, and hoping for a win soon

I don't know exactly, but I have 70,000 tweets and I reckon that I get a prize from twitter between 1000 and 2000 tweets roughly. Mind you, some of these are just little things like a bar of chocolate, or a fish slice, not big wins.

I've no idea - and with 19,300 tweets I'm not about to look back through!

When I first started using Twitter, several years ago, my win rate was quite good - however Twitter is a lot more popular now and the odds are massively reduced.

do you think it matters how many followers you have? I've only got 30 as I only use twitter for comps. Maybe they like to give prizes to those who have a bigger following? (If anyone wants to follow me I'm 86_gemz) :-)

I don't think follower numbers matter as the draws are usually ( and hopefully) random - i only have 37 followers and i reckon about half those are companies

I have stopped entering them now unless it is something amazing,12500 tweets and about 6 wins,toothpaste,bar of chocolate,some soap,hair products, a calendar, a mug,

I've also scaled back my Twitter entries as I was finding myself too close to the limit of people you can follow and going through deleting them is time I could spend doing something productive. Now I only enter the ones I'd really like to win - and most of those are Dave Lackie ones. Has anyone here ever won anything of his?
