open plan lawn and dog muck

You don't have to report the dog/owner to the dog warden - just report that you have an on-going problem with dog pooh being deposited at regular times and not picked up - it is the job of the dog warden to investigate such transgressions and to catch the offenders and fine them!0

Thanks for those replies
we can't fence it off unfortunately it has to remain open plan, which is quite nice.
I told him 6 months ago about this problem and his answer was to tell him and he'd come and remove the much, as he walked off he said 'like f I will'
I'm at work most of the day and it seems that they let the dog out early morning, so I don't see it, it's only through other neighbours do I know it's been let out.
but it seems to have taken a likening to my lawn right infront of the window, and it's always my grandkids that seem to end up with it all over them.
There daughter plays out with other children in the close and they all play over the lawns but it's never there child who steps in it.
I'm just sick of it.
At this moment in time all I want to do is drop kick the dog over the houses.
I may have to call the dog warden but I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go down that road, just incase it causes trouble.0 -
Are you certain it's not one of the neighbourhood cats as well?
If it was me I'd be reporting them to the RSPCA, they should not be just releasing the dog to roam because they can't be bothered to walk it properly. What else aren't they doing right? I'm sorry but that would be my major concern and not so much the garden.
I have heard of councils DNA testing and issuing bills, perhaps this is something you could investigate?

No it's deffo not cats, they go in the dirt in the bushes opposite our gardens.
It always happened the day that the dogs been out, our kitchens are on the front of the house and people see the dog running around.0 -

I'm not an advocate for animal abuse but I couldn't help but picture this and laugh. I'm seeing a toy dog go flying, like the cow from the nursery rhyme.0 -

...and there I lose any sympathy.0 -
Disgusting people!!! I'd do what another poster has said and pick it up and put on his doorstep. He'd soon get the message. I have a dog and always pick up after him. He should be reported!! So what if it causes bad feelings - he's not worried about upsetting you obviously!!Living life with a crazy dog!!!0

Hammer frozen sausages into their lawn ?
No seriously, I'd go for the hose pipe approach.
Plus if the dog is in your garden, kidnap it and take it to the local pound.0 -

It will cause less trouble for you having to keep making contact with a neighbour who doesn't listen. It will cause more trouble for the neighbour when the dog warden issues him with a fine for allowing his dog to foul the neighbourhood ........
Just report the fact that "a" dog is continually fouling your open plan garden and children are walking through it ...the warden will start to patrol the area - at various times - and once the offending animal/owner is caught in the act, it will be between the Council and the owner - you won't be brought into it at all.0 -
I think I would report it but if he has that kind of attitude ('Like F I will') then I would be a little concerned about how he might react. Still wants reporting though. Like other dog owners, I have every bag and pocket stuffed with little bags."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
