Zebra Books - zebrabooks.net

Anyone used these people? They're based in Belfast. I'm currently waiting for a £899 MacBook order to be fulfilled but the longer it goes the more serious my doubts. Looking like a scam.
Any ideas or knowledge out there?

...if the likes of Currys/PC World/John Lewis won't discount apple products you have to question a site that can offer 5+% off every iPad they list.

It looks to be a small business selling books, that for some reason also does some technology. I hope you paid via a protected means...

This company zebra value books ltd was only set up on November 26th last year.
How long have you been waiting and what do they say when you communicate with them?

Been waiting a week. Company insist they sent a MacBook using regular First Class mail. It was supposedly sent on Wednesday and has not arrived. Get no sensible answers about anything. Order tracking is 'broken'. Single phone number goes straight to voicemail. Payment via Worldpay was what seemed to happen although my card company cast some doubt on that one.
Digging around their site (yes, I know it's after the event) comes up with a lot of really strange irregularities).

Constantly emailing Zebrabooks.net but getting no sense at all. Gareth Moore acknowledged my 'order'.

    A nightmare!

Seems he has loads of domains and loads that have expired, strange that in this one though its the only one he has registered at companies house.

Seems that he does use his home address though.

I very much doubt if they have sent anything - regular 1st class mail is not tracked and provides a maximum of £20 compensation.

My feelings exactly! I very much doubt it too.
Will update if I receive it - but I'm not holding my breath.

Agree . Something seems non-standard here.
Put pressure on your payment provider.
Don't hang around and take excuses-act fast.

card company wanted to wait until 7 days (today) had elapsed from date of order. Then they tell me they will issue a chargeback. The whole thing really does stink!
