I got my recycling boxes in as soon as the bin men came yesterday. We don't have wheelie bins just black bags for the rubbish.
My garden stuff such as plastic chairs keep blowing everywhere!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £10,153.440 -
Well, we survived the night - it was so noisy! I heard plenty of glass breaking - think someone lost their greenhouse

And what a difference the morning makes - we had no electricity until an hour ago, but otherwise no damage so we are very lucky. Now the sun is out and the sky is blue.
Time to start clearing up....

My wheelie bin has also joined in with the mystery of vanishing wheelie bins. There is no rubbish from what I can see from looking out the window but there is a possibility its gone round the corner.
Otherwise it has flown off too with all of the rubbish in! Its lovely outside now, even got sunshine.0 -
I thought my wheelie bin had gone until I found it on it's side, under the fence panel that had fallen on my car!

Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid....0 -
Was out at half 2 this morning rescuing our neighbour's bin and lid that were clattering down the road. Just shut the front door and heard ours go, so was back out again. Fence has blown down in the back garden but apart from that everything is okay.
We're lucky not to have it anywhere near as bad as others do. Must be blooming awful!"I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
We had a food bin turn on our drive today,
lucky the people had left the delivery label on which has their house number
Not so lucky a couple of fence panels down0 -
The wheelie bin that was tucked away near my door has gone. I walked to the end of my drive and looked up and down the street, in both my neighbours front gardens......and it's gone.
The end is nigh.....:o
Bl00dy students used to nick mine. They got drunk and rode down the road in it.0
