My wheelie bin has gone!

The winds are soooo strong tonight. I heard some crash banging so put on my dressing gown, donned my trainers and opened my front door.
The wheelie bin that was tucked away near my door has gone. I walked to the end of my drive and looked up and down the street, in both my neighbours front gardens......and it's gone.
The end is nigh.....:o

I'm in London, the wind is unbelievable tonight! There's a very unstable looking tree right above someone's car outside....0

We are now an island on an island...the sea has breached the harbour and is creeping this way...the main road is flooding on our right, the sea has flooded the road on our left, if the two meet I shall start worrying. It is incredibly windy, all the ferries have stopped running...lots of trees down. Recorded 99mph winds at the Needles on Thursday night and I would not be surprised if they have surpassed that tonight. There have been gusts to force 10 in mid Solent during the evening anyway.
Hope everyone is keeping safe. Please don't forget your elderly neighbours and wildlife.
To cheer you up, we are forecast a hot hot hot summer

Suz, I pray the water doesn't reach you.
I feel so so sorry for those living in flood warning areas. At least us Londoners don't have to deal with that......well hopefully not.

Some of Londoners are in flood risk areas, I live below the barrier and I've been watching the waters rising. We are on an official flood alert. So sorry too for those who have been flooded for some time now.

Someone's recycling bin was flying around earlier with lots of glass bottles in it! Would not have risked walking near it!0

I wouldn't go telling the locals in Croydon that London is unaffected
