10 years ago:eek: even thinking about doing it, wine or no wine, even as a fleeting idea makes it a mean, unnecessarily interfering thing to do.

He's an Ex from years ago that is together with a friend from a different 'Arena' . . . I trained him in cards, gift giving, general lovelyness . . I'm proud of what he learned and his education in loving women . . MY original post was 'I taught him well'

This attitude could well be why you are single.

Who left whom? It comes across as if you hold a sense of property over him. Did you really train him? Is there some jealousy there that you wish he had done this with you naturally. Personally 1 month or 10 years you are entitled to feel whatever is there bug never ever let it show it does show you in a good way and will do you no favours, better to stay friends with both or move on and delete them from your life.
  • Have a couple of bottles of wine then tell her the reason he is so good in bed is cos you taught him everything he knows. Shes bound to have a chuckle, what could go wrong?

Haha op I can relate to that bittersweet feeling , hope you chuckled to yourself and enjoyed your wine.
Hope you don't get upset by criticising people , some take it too seriously, may be sense of humour and good mood generally interfered by Valentine's. :j
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

Or maybe other posters on here have a level of common sense that you severely lack. Saying 'there, there I can relate, have a good chuckle' when someone was set to make a stupid move is neither helpful nor constructive.

I don't think this sounds bitter or anything, although I agree with other posters that it would be better not to post this. You simply seem to be observing that people change, and that you may well have played a part in his personal development.

It was 10 years ago though so a later girlfriend may have played a much bigger part! A colleague did once post a message on Facebook saying she had 'made' an ex into the man he is today. Cringefest!

    I agree.

After ten years, he could have had a lot more and a lot better than the OP.

I can't even remember the names of some of my ex partners. If any posted something like that on a Facebook page, it would be the saddest (sad as in pathetic) thing I'd read in a fair while!
