Anyone else having problems with BT Vision box? Takes ages to react to remote.
Originally had YouView, which seemed a lot better, but told I couldn't have Sky Sports with YouView.

Its had a hiccup! Just pull the power to the box, wait ten seconds and then turn it back on.0

mine does it too.
Last weekend i lost all the channels inc freeview
normally i have all the kids channels cartoon network ect plus all the other ones. Also all the on demand channels and the box sets were missing.
Had to re set the whole box then had to re sex to manufacturers and re tune and then finally it worked, but it does freeze alot!0 -
Mine does it too, check your wifi as this seems to be connected to the issue. Our booster plug got unplugged over Christmas and this made it worsePlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

My tv used the cable, but my wifi can be terrible and turns off on the laptop! I only have a small flat!
My sons room is next to lounge and tv next to wifi only thing thats stopping it is the wall, and he has trouble connecting too!
seems no different having the infinity than broadband 30 -
I've got everything wired up. The internet is excellent, although I think the BT Home Hub is probably not that great.
The BT Vision box seems like something out of the 1980s. Soooo slow. Every action takes so many button presses and each button press takes 5 secs +.
Can't believe they've spent so much on football, but haven't bothered to sort out the technology.0 -
I have none of the problems your having. Did you do as I suggested to cure the problem?0

T seems to happen to ours every few days, at least once a week Visionman. Rebooting does seem to reset it, but its a pain in the neckPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Sorry Raksha, but your box does what exactly?0

Lag is probably the best way to describe it. You press a button on the control and nothing happens for perhaps several minutes, even though the control box is transmitting by the red light showing, then the box will react - show the guide for example, if you remember what you were trying to do and try to carry out the next step, there will be another lag..Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Then just turn the box off, wait ten seconds then turn it back on. It will/should cure the problem.0
