    cheap mics suck, sorry. You can pick up a Shure SM58 which is a great vocal mic for about £60. That's one with a lead, you could go Beta 58 but that's a bit expensive. Now, If you all want a studio I can sort you out with that and a decent PA, I can't deal with bad sound. I know I sound like a right snob now:o

    Might have to bow out then: I don't have £60 spare for a mic, sadly.

    I would look on freecycle, but my local one is !!!!!!!

    Please don't Liz! I've got a decent mic I can borrow from work, I'm happy to post it up if you'll post it back, might be a few quid as I'm not sure how heavy it is, but better than £60!

    Can someone tell me how I'm supposed to plug my bass into the PC? Is it through the MIC input or what?? :confused:
