    Happy V Day!!

I do find it funny how we all don't want to celebrate, yet I also am a little disappointed with the lack of flowers :-(

I really shouldn't complain as my lovely OH whom I've only been with for a few months, took me to The Ritz on Wednesday and it was fantastic.

I've bought the M&S dine in meal for this evening and a nice romantic film.

I did get the sweetiest card ever!

Sold out in mine, was gutted. Enjoy it :)

I'm currently trying to get through to Interflora, but they keep on cutting me off

I love flowers, but they can be bought anytime of the year, and like I said I think the price tag they put on them is outrageous! But I guess it all comes down to supply and demand.

Well done on getting a refund. :)

I know! I did buy my boyfriend some tulips for a much more reasonable price tag!

    Yep.... Keep trying!

I love tulips, they're one of my favourite flowers! :)
  • We don't normally do much - cards and small gifts - but I had some bad news earlier in the week and my head hasn't been in the game.

OH got card, chocs and whatever he wants for dinner as he told me not to go mad.

He, on the other hand, bought me some perfume which I adore but can never justify the cost of (Prada Candy), and wrote a beautiful message in my card that made me cry.

He is a gem and cheered me up no end :)

First time ever we didn't buy cards (well; she didn't get me one last year) - Romance is finally officially dead in our house, can't say I'm overly mythered ... I'd trade her in but haven't the energy (or finance) x
  • My partner and I are spending the whole day alone... in the office printing off, hole punching and arranging 12,800 pages of catalogues.

It's going to be a romantic one, I can tell.

:D Have a lovely day everyone who has plans!
There is hope for us yet

I'm having a lovely V Day too - after 9 years it's the first one as his wife and I'm totally loving it!

Oh well I am having a singletons V Day - and not in the least bit bothered!

I've just got over a brief but grim relationship, and the relief of being the otherside in one piece is enough! :rotfl:

Happy day though, and I hope you all feel super special, single or coupled up
  • My OH woke me up this morning so he could wish me a happy valentines day before he left for work. At 6am. I did NOT appreciate the gesture! My cat decided to be ever so romantic and show his love for me by vomiting all over my new hallway carpet. So not the most magical of valentines days so far!
  • We never go out for Valentines day as we find everywhere we like is over priced and crowded lol So M&S meal deal and film and exchange gifts later .
Tomorrow night we are having a date night as we have tickets to cinema thanks to daily mail rewards and nectar lol Enjoy your love days everyone xxxxxxx
