  • GG – I know you are 27 and from Burnley and love Fonzie, but I don’t know much more about you. What is your work history? When did you last work? And what qualifications do you have?
If you say so. What about my other questions - What is your work history? When did you last work? And what qualifications do you have?

He refuses to answer those kinds of questions, he has been asked him plenty of times... He prefers to start useless threads and then sits back online watching the thread go way off topic! smiley-computer004.gif

I was in Manchester this week, had a nice meal in Canal street, whilst there I spotted 3 pubs that were advertising for staff as well as the client I was visiting was advertising over 100 admin jobs.

A job on Canal Street would be perfect for him, imagine all that eye candy! smiley-sex019.gif

Then again he would probably use the excuse it was too far to travel every day from Burnley! smiley-transport014.gif

I am just wondering what you lot think.

Do you think its fair that Job Centre advisors ask us to send spec letters out to companies/Employers when we are only on a low income?

Also when employers receive your spec letters, do you believe they just throw them in the bin without reading them? because if they do that then its a waste of our money.

I can't understand why Job Centre ask us to do this when we only get a small amount of money, I thought the reason we claim Job Seekers is stated in the law for the amount of us to live on and support us until we get a Job?

I will be glad the day when I get a Job as I hate going to Job Centre. :(

I was watching Pound Wars last night on the BBC, kept looking out for you since it was in Burnley Town Centre... I suggest you pop a couple of spec letters in to Poundland / Poundworld and the 99p stores... you might get lucky! The assistant manager in Poundworld seems very friendly!
Have you thought about advertising yourself on smiley-computer002.gif or placing a classified ad in the local paper:

'Young Sexy Good Looking Most Definitely Gay Guy Seeking Work In Any Industry'

You just might get lucky - with work I mean of course! I've seen many news articles where people have advertised themselves for work, standing on a roundabout with signs etc...

BTW someone mentioned you could do voluntary work with the RSPCA - I don't think that is a good idea, especially with the cat issue... cute-kitty-smiley-emoticon.gif
  • Sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince!

I don't think GG will mind kissing a lot of frogs, especially if they are 'sexy men' like Gary Lucy, Fonzie, etc, etc.

That's what I thought, nice little admin role from 9-5 then a shift in a pub/restaurant in that area would be right up his street. Even the sex shop that has a very convenient cash machine inside were advertising for staff.

Edit: bit of luck he could pull a sugar daddy so he doesn't have to work ever again.

Am sure if he can commute for fun times, he could manage to get there for a job.

The allowance is conditional. Commitment to actively seek work is a condition. Part of that commitment includes spec letters.

So yes it's fair that JC ask you to send spec letters.
