    Hi

The travel agent should be able to provide you with a PNR

This will allow you to display your booking on the airlines website.

I would call the company and ask them to provide you with this

Which airline are you travelling with?

    Del

    Thanks for your input delwynshd

Will your organisation at least provide the airline reservation number to the customer or that has to wait as well until 4 weeks before the departure?

I called up the airline but they are unable to find me on their system with my name but the travel agent is adamant that I have confirmed booking. Yet at the same time has not provided me any airline reference number.

I have bought tickets from them before at least twice I think, and the tickets were issued with no problems on the same day.

The other issue is that flights I am supposedly booked on are now showing as fully booked on airline website. Is it possible that the agent is not issuing the tickets so that they can see if they can get more money for those seats from somebody else?

    Hello Claire

Depending on the airline your travelling with keeping your money for as long as possible or so close to departure date may would most likely result in the OPs flights going up in cost. This is usually always the case with scheduled airlines

Agents get net rates from airlines in order to boost sales on certain routes. We work closely with lots of carriers.

However charter airlines would normally come down in price closer to departure dates depending on how full the flight is.

    Thanks
    Del
