Is it worth trying to haggle when joining Sky?

I'm considering switching from basic TV, broadband and phone on Virgin to the same on Sky, as the price is the same now that Virgin have kindly taken away my loyalty bonus, and even the basic Sky TV package has Sky Atlantic and Fox.
So my question is, would it be worth trying to get some kind of offer or discount from them on the phone? All they are offering at the moment is a free Sky box or something, which I don't really see as much of an offer. Or do you think they will just stonewall me?

Groupon has a 50% off TV packages offer, until tomorrow midnight, for new customers, if you don't want to haggle. You can also get free BB, with the top packages, if you take line rental, too.0

If you do the online chat on the order page (make out you are interested but not decided) you may get a 50% off whatever you pick for 12 months. The online chat team can do discounts so its worth a try0
