I am probably posting this in the wrong place, and I know I will need to go and find my metal knickers....but I have a bee in my bonnet so I need to vent

I have been really shocked this week about the number of threads that have been closed/deleted/disappeared/editing on this tiny part of the forum.

I have never known a forum that is ruled with such an iron fist
Most forums would never consider closing/deleting/editing a thread unless it was abusive/racist/harmful ect

What peeves me off the most is that Fanny Adams (sorry for choosing an old fashioned girls name Chrissie ) comes on posts a photo saying "isn't this pretty" all of Fanny Adams friends agree, then along comes Joe Bloggs who says he does not think that Fanny Adams picture is pretty and then all of Fanny Adams accuse Joe Bloggs of picking on/bullying Fanny Adams so they all turn on Joe Bloggs and it turns out that Fanny Adams friends are really the bullies Fanny Adams then runs to the admins and tells them Joe Bloggs has been nasty to her and the thread is either closed/deleted/edited.

To cut a long story short if you come on here and ask a question you have to expect an honest answer, whether it is the answer you want to hear or not, if it is not what you hoped to hear it is not bullying it is another persons opinion.

So what I would like to know is who on these boards can edit/delete/close threads is it just the 3 main admins or are there others who are able to do this too?

the problem is too many people get bound up in a conspiricy theories and cliques and dont spend enough time comping.
has anyone noticed theyre all women

I understand that Glad or Dalkirst,the MSE Comp board BG team,can only close or edit threads/posts.

The deletion of threads/posts rests solely with the MSE Admin team.Plus admin can do the other two tasks as well.

I will stand corrected if wrong though :-)

I wasn't talking about the recent thread in particular it has happened several times in the years I have been using this forum.

My point was if you ask a question don't always expect to hear what you want to hear, many folks have many opinions and some are bound to differ from yours

I don't know a single person on this forum personally, I am in no cliques, my opinions are my own but I am also willing to listen to other peoples

So Glad and Dalkirst are Board Guides they can close and edite thread OK I got that, so who is the third perso in the photo at the top?

Who are the MSE admin team? (I thought it was the folks in the photo it says they run the forum)

Hi,the photo is of three of the MSE Admin team & not the Comp Board BG team.I think one is MSE Andrea.

I have no idea what Dalkirst or Glad look like.:D

I have edited my post to get rid of the"only" stutter as well :-)

I don't think much that has been lost really fell within the purpose of CCC

Take a seat, this is the place to chat about comps, post hints and tips, ask questions galore and relax after a hard session comping...
