Thank you for sharing, this made me laugh as much as my poor DD today. She is 13yrs old, image is everything. She told me that in games they had to do individual assessments in front of the whole class. So on her turn (she isn't the most graceful child) she did a few bits and pieces ok, then did some kind of bunny hop on a beam, on the third hop she didn't lift her legs high enough and went flying over the beam landing on the floor. Which she kindly demonstrated on the kitchen floor.
So she said she just laid there for a moment thinking what shall I do and then she spread out her arms(as if to say ta da), twisted herself up in a performing way and stepped forwards with her arms in the air. Still makes me laugh now when she showed me what she did. She said the whole class were laughing. Luckily she just gets on with it and I think secretly she loves being her own little real life Miranda.
Her first day at her new school she got to one of her classes late, then in front of everyone she dropped her books and stuff out of her bag and when she went to sit down she fell off her chair.
Anyway I best get some shut eye, just wanted to share too.
And before I forget, thank you for the kfc vouchers, shall treat the kids after school tomorrow

I understand that is how it works, but as Msm/Msl clearly show when an offer is due to end, it is an apg flaw that post midday shops match tomorrow's price on the apg. Surely it should be able to cope with date changes, given the apg t and cs state that instore shops match the time/day of the receipt, and online shops match at the point of delivery? Must be a simple bit of coding for price expires etc as tills generally seem to cope with the time/date price basics. In this example, until this morning the offer showed valid until 11/2 which should therefore run until midnight.

I know I have been stung (again!) on an NA when it should match, and we are talking about a glitch so are perhaps not really in a position to complain (as we don't want them to mend it too much!), but for normal shoppers it is supposed to be a guarantee which only works if it is reliable. ... I know we are sometimes relying on it not being reliable so that it glitches, so I am contradicting myself .

Note these observations aren't "just" because it hasn't worked for me - they could just perhaps be clearer what time the apg updates prices and when offers are reflected (so all shoppers can shop with confidence ... And we have a better idea when it it most likely working as expected :A).

Remember though that the main point of msm is for people to place online orders. You cant place an online order on the 11th for delivery on the 11th so msm shows prices for delivery on the 12th at the earliest

That 's why any apg shop on the last day of a competitors deal should be done before the APG noon update

Sadly with M going online I've not been collecting prices instore - but I'm now using msm. There seem to be still quite a number of items (Savers malt loaf? Bakery Donuts? Portion cucumber?) not showing on msm (and presumably not sold via m.com), yet they are instore and, some of them, being picked up on the APG properly which I believe is still using instore price collection - unless it has just changed and someone will update me!

You could of course pop into M and get the prices, but I suppose I collated it all without anyone else needing to go there (albeit my rulings out of certain items on the basis of a few pence lost was/is sometimes too pedantic).

As I'm no longer getting prices from instore (unless I happen to pop into M and take a look), unfortunately (it's why I started with "Sadly" above), I don't know about the current prices on the items that are not on msm. This also means I don't know whether or not there has been a reduction in price in M on the loose swede, hence why I wasn't able to give a definitive on that earlier.

Yes I got 'stung' myself on the changeover day vs T recently (I've resolved never to let that happen again - I've fell foul of it twice before and should know better by now, and I do). You raise quite a number of interesting points. I have a very complete and complex answer, but unfortunately I can't even begin to write it now - will have to wait to some other time, remind me sometime. Jaffa cake cinema tickets? Must of missed that one. I am ashamed to admit I had four codes from the cheap books last year that I let expire, didn't realise they had to be entered before 31/12/13 slapped wrist !
