Mine's pretty much done, apart from stuff that won't go in until the last moment, like toothbrush, hairbrush, phone charger, etc Because I'll need all of that in the few weeks to come!

Sorry to hear the overdue ladies are struggling... Looks like I'll be joining you soon. I've already booked my first sweep for Monday and my due date is tomorrow! Think she said I could have 3 if I wanted and induction is 12 days over if it gets that far.

Now I've got my heart set on the birth centre I really don't want that

becs that nursery furniture is lovely we had our little box room plastered yesterday so just need it to dry out and then we can paint and get it ready to be a nursery! we have had the furniture in boxes for ages so I can't wait to finally get it up.

I'm going for a 4D scan today! hoping it's a nice picture and not scary and that she is behaving for it hehe, must admit I'm excited I might get to see her little face .

went to the midwife yesterday she said my bump was measuring a little bit bigger than average but she couldn't plot it on that growth chart thing because the hospital had printed it out wrong! I hope I'm not growing a 10lb 5 baby like my boyfriend was when he was born :eek:

I'm delurking as my due date is Monday - no idea how that happened :undecided

Had lots to do this last week and was convinced little one would arrive early but no signs so far. Part of me is getting impatient and wants bubs to come out and part of me is terrified of labour so I want him to stay put. I wonder if that will change if I go overdue and get more uncomfy.

Firey - my bump is measuring 6 weeks behind but a growth scan shows baby measuring ahead!! It means I can barely breath lol but does show bump size doesn't always equal baby size. Fingers crossed your little one is just chilling out in lots of fluid I understand your worries though, my oh had a big head, his mum had a horrendous birth hence why I'm keeping my legs crossed a bit _pale_

fireyfirenze- hope the scan went well! I have been measuring under for weeks up until this week when I measured exact.

Eiteews - test went fine, didn't like the drink at all but I have to wait until my results show. Midwife said she would call me. Happy due date

neverdespairgirl - I have got on with sorting my bag, it isn't done but its further than it was! I need to get a measuring jug from the pound shop and I must not forget as it saved me last time!

laurabllue - with my DS I had no sign of anything and then my waters went and hours later I had my baby. You never know.

lulu75 - hopefully your sweep has taken some affect - I have heard sometimes a few days later its enough to start it off. It is strange how some areas they sweep you prior to your birth date, some later, some once and some lots!

becsxxx - nursery is coming together beautiful.

VickyVics - My bump has always been low but Midwife confirmed that baby is 3/5th's engaged now but she said she could come out again as some babies do that! It definatly makes you feel like you need the loo all the time. I think I have pulled a muscle down there more towards my leg as I am limping. I do hope you feel better soon.

Firefrenzy how was the scan, did you get to see her face? Im considering one, but they're so pricey! Xx

the scan was lovely it was so nice to see her again, she was in a good position! I could see her chubby little cheeks! the pictures aren't great, probably only cute to myself and my mum etc ha but it was really nice, at one point she looked like she was smiling! ha.

also what was good they were able to measure her and see how much she weighs, she's nearly 3lb and is exactly on track for what I should be which had reassured me after the midwife saying I was a bit bigger yesterday!

marywoo ours was £49 we got it half price at a baby show, I used my birthday money because I couldn't think of anything else I wanted, it was definitely worth it

I'm due on the 20th May which in some ways feels ages away but in others so blooming close!

This will be our 4th and is a boy so we have DS1 (11), DD1 (9), DD2 (3) & soon DS2 - we must be mad!

This pregnancy is very different to both of my DD's pregnancies but has some similarities with DS's but a constant blocked nose & frequent sinus issues is something so very new.

Got our growth scan on Tuesday and as long as all is ok we are good to go for a home birth which would be nice.


Also thinking of having a 4D scan so the kids can see bump - anyone had one?
