That sounds nice!! never thought to put chilli flakes in!
Another curry down last night as its our anniversary today. The only thing I could muster any energy for was a meal at the curry house up the road where I would have to get dressed up or put too much make up on...its doing the trick albeit very slowly but i'm definitely less congested today. baby movements are really really strong today, to the point of actually might be a bit painful
But this is my last week at work!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:jOn a mission0 -

Snap! Well on the last week of work and big baby kicks that feel quite sore! On the curry front I can't stomach takeaway/restaurant curry just now. Think it's too heavy for me, I end up being sick. I can have homemade though. Looking forward to finishing work!0 -
This is my first week of mat leave and honestly I am just finding it very strange at the moment! Day 2 and I don't know what to do with myself. The house needs a good scrub but my back is in bits so it's difficult to do anything worthwhile - emptying and reloading the dishwasher this morning meant lack of breath and lots of pain
I've got a growth scan this afternoon and consultant appointments afterwards. Not looking forward to them as have been back and forth talking to the diabetic midwife as my numbers aren't very good at the moment, which isn't ideal - they aren't too high, which is strange - if anything they are too low! Food which would normally 'spike' me isn't even close to doing so and that can be a sign of placental deterioration
Wish me luck!

Morning all,
Was thinking I should have stayed in bed this morning but ventured out to work anyway.
Had scan yesterday. Baby is measuring at 5lbs 15
But consultant is now saying everything is looking perfectand I don't need to go back until 38 weeks :T:T
Kirtsy I have struggled with the dishwasher for ages now, just cant bend over to get at the bottom shelf without getting out of breath and dizzy!...I hope your scan wen well yesterday?
Three days and counting for me!!On a mission0 -
Hope you got to work and back safe Laura!
My scan didn't go brilliantly - first of all his heart rate was way too fast so she did all the measurements then handed me over to fetal assessment for monitoring, by the time they'd got me hooked up on the monitor his heartrate had slowed right down and then the issue was he wasn't having any accelerations or moving very much so ended up in there for a while.
When I finally got out of there, I was called in to see diabetic team and I saw an SHO who basically said she didn't know what was going on with my bloods by baby has had a huge growth spurt but oh well we will see you in 2 weeks. Then I went into obstetric consult where I was due to get induction date decision but the consultant wasn't in clinic so no inductions could be passed off
Went into diabetic midwife and she wasn't happy with the diabetic doctor as it's obvious from his growth that something isn't right with my sugar levels and no one was trying to work out why - she wanted me to keep her up to date with my levels as she thinks they are going to spike all of a sudden!
He is now measuring at 6lb 15oz so estimated to be over 9lb at birth, over 80th centile when he was on the 50th 4 weeks ago so something is happening. I just need to keep pushing I think, no one seems to be paying attention apart from the diabetic midwife!
Only 2 days left to go Laura and Sweet, nearly there for you too Cherry!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
