Tipping it down here. I need to go and feed neighbours kitten and if the rain continues I'll drive over and collect the boys from school as they will get drenched waiting fof the bus in this.

JTTOU I was a bit late in my hhc so was joining you! I couldn't get my butt off the sofa!

    But now I have
Sorted a pile of paperwork in DR, recycled some, rehomed some and rest ready to file.
Tidied what was left in drawers. Found kids temp tattoos. They can have them tonight.
Got buggy and cover out ready for school run :( plus hats etc.
Put last few bits of clothes away and straightened kids beds.
Shut blinds and curtains. Almost dark here now
Put a few more bits away in DD room.
Distributed toilet rolls to various locations. That would be the toilets.
Noted toilet roll to be added to shopping list. Plus weetos :D

Hoping for a duvet day tomorrow. Or at least a pj day.

Would Mr A be coached to do that for you? To put your mind at rest? Would it even work? He could say 'I've had a great evening and you have not said anything to insult or upset me so please don't worry about it' he must know of your little quirks by now! Mr LW can tell you if you said anything stupid.. I often say stupid things lol.. that us usually greeted with people looking at me like I have 3 green heads!
It probably wouldn't make one iota of difference; I'd convince myself he was just being polite. Thing is, I dislike me, so can't imagine how anyone else can possibly like me.

    Ah, well...

    Anyways....

Hoppy Birdday Dusty:beer: I'm late as always, but at least this time it's still the correct day.:D

Ionafan concentration vibes for you mate; and sorry to hear you've had upsetting news.

Flying is pretty much suspended til Monday. while Jessie's here - it'll just be a question of keeping the mud trailed in cleaned up; we've managed two walks without getting rained on today, but she does come home with muddy paws and a soggy undercarriage. It can't be avoided, it's just so mucky underfoot. Luckily she thinks being toweled dry is a game.:D

I've had a lovely bouquet of flowers and a card; and of course I haven't managed to get anything for Mr LW, as I can't get to the shops alone. He's getting his favourite meal tonight though, and we have champagne (on offer in @ld! when we went the other day):money:

He's been asked to work Sunday (logging in from home) as they have a backlog, so I need to organise the weekend tasks to get things I need him to assist with done Saturday.

Have a lovely Valentines day whatever you're doing, and please everyone stay safe with this rotten wind and rain.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I've managed to munch another frog that's been around for a couple of years, and this one was quite a technical one, so I'm rather chuffed. Other than that, I've done some bins, deconstructed the futon, set some charity shop stuff aside for dropping off this afternoon, made curried parsnip soup (fab) and some carrot and parmesan drop scones (disappointing) for Valentine's Day lunch with OH.

Ionafan, I hope today is going as well as you could have hoped for. Big hugs for you to go with concentration vibes.
    Better is good enough.

    Hugs Ionafan X

Well I'm happily indoors, locked in, littlies watching Harry Potter (they've persuaded me to let them watch no 3 on the promise that they ask to switch it off if they get scared. I've told them its all made up and they are laughing at it so far). Dinner is on the go, just as well - apparently they are staaaaarving mum :D

I have 5 valentine cards aww and a lovely drawing. And its super hero day on the Friday after half term, DS has asked if he can take his cape that I made ages ago :T

HB, LW and Bossy, many thanks to all of you. Unfortunately the situation in Germany is completely out of my hands, but it means that for the foreseeable future I shall not be able to visit a family there who are very dear to me. I can only hope and pray.

But when I felt really down today, a parcel arrived in the post to cheer me - another batch of plants that I had for our garden: baby hellebores (yes, I could never have too many of them!) and some fat polianthes tuberosa bulbs which will hopefully produce beautiful blooms like these. As soon as the weather improves, I shall be outdoors every day, digging and planting. Roll on Spring! :D

Without any persuasion from me, DH has decided to volunteer for our local U3A committee, which I think is an excellent thing for him. At last he appears to be settling in here and starting to make friends :A

I have somehow managed to deal with another frog, which just leaves one more from this batch perched on my desk - and it should be more straightforward to deal with than the three previous ones. I have also managed to write all the rest of February's birthday cards.

I must nip out to the post box between showers, then I think I will do a bit more work on my garden design before I cook tea - which I have decided will be teriyaki salmon with noodles *nom-nom*:p

    Happy Birthday Dusty
    :bdaycake:

Off now to do the ironing and get DD packed ready to leave tomorrow morning. I still need to cut her fringe, help her wrap the gift, write the card....and probably other things which I can't think of right now :o
