Car dropped off at garage for mot & service. 2 buses home. Garage just rang car needs front discs & pads so not too bad.

DH is off today as DS2 is still poorly and I didn't want to take him to the garage.

Must find my list. Car will be ready late afternoon.

<YAWN> Uurggghhh, I'm not a happy Wolf today. No sleep last night.:( 'Tis always the same when we have Mr LW's pal over; I lie awake all night replaying the entire evening in my head, torturing myself worrying over whether I said/did anything spectaculously stupid/offensive/otherwise embarrassing.:(

One thing I must make a note of on our holiday planner is he wants us to bring back a dozen bottles of Kwak for him from Belgium. He's got the proper glass for it (we bought him the glass with four bottles as a thank-you for watching over the bungalow for us last time we went to Belgium) and wants the correct thing to put in it.:D

I think I shall put the Dys0n round, do a spot of dusting, and see if I can deal with a couple of the more docile Frogs today.:o

Good news is Jessie will be arriving 19:00 this evening.:T

Hugs LW you are lovely and would never upset or offend anybody.

Just finishing my cuppa when taking the miele for a walk around the house. Must remember I need to go and feed my neighbour's kitten too.

Nothing like an additional two adults and two kiddiwinks' imminent arrival to get Honey Bear supersonic flying. Four hours after I started some of the house appears to be relatively shipshape and the WM is twirling the darks. The forecast is dry for the rest of the day, so it seems worthwhile.

The cat is not keen on children. The dog is puzzled by them. OH has shut himself in his office.

Lamewolf, I like OH's pals, but I realised quite some time ago that if I went to bed superearly when some of them came round (or stayed), no one minded in the slightest. It means I can get a lovely early night and the possibility of saying something I later realised was inappropriate is diminished. Might that work as a tactic for you?
    Better is good enough.

    Hi
Just flung our swimmies in for a quick wash. DD is shattered :) bless her. I think we'll take the pushchair on the school run...

Bright but still breezy here and not spotted any damage whilst we've been out. Had a nice chat with my friend while the girls were paddling about. DD is funny, she doesn't move her arms but sort of runs with her legs, they go so fast its hilarious, but it really gets her around the pool at speed. No wonder she is tired I think she must have run a couple of miles lol. Her hair has gone super curly.

Not doing much for the next hour. Just lounging, fire on, tablet on knee. We've got last nights chicken casserole for tea so I just need to do some extra veg (it seems to have shrunk to nothing!).

Really what I ought to be doing is sorting the tool cabinet. CBA

    :D
