Just dropping by to say really happy that you've been able to make going down to four days a week work. Think it might actually help your debt reductions as you are happier with balance in life.

Thanks everyone. Didn't do the carboot in the end. Weather turned and it rained! Anyway, the stuff is there for next week.Ive only had one four day week so far, hohum, but I'm sure it is going to help me with work/life balance no end!
Struggling along to payday at the moment. Still, I'm still in budget and the debt is reducing, even if it is very slowly. It's going in the right direction. That's what I keep telling myself. There might be a little injection of funds into the buffer fund soon as I'm claiming a very small pension fund as a total amount. Ive decided to keep it in there for peace of mind.
Decorating is almost done and work is going to start on the new patio soon. The sandstone has been bought on special offer and OAP discount. Just waiting for the friends who are going to help to let us know when they are free. Lovely day...sun out. Only two more days to go till payday!

Also, the pensions paperwork I requested two weeks ago still hasn't arrived despite them telling me it was 'in the post' last Friday. I'm fed up of being fobbed off by people who are not doing their job properly. Its payday on Thursday and I wont be getting the amount I expected because they are dragging their feet. Not happy...

OMG! Why do payroll always get it wrong? I have reduced my salary by 20%, but my first take home pay on the new hours is less than 50% of my previous salary! This does not give me confidence that they have worked out my pension calculations correctly...

Sorry to hear that things are not going well, its very annoying your being paid wrong, especially as you need it so much.
