Thank you, everyone. Your support means a lot. I certainly couldn't have got this far without the folk on this website.
I'm getting there. Once the house is done, I'm sure the order and absence of clutter will have a really positive impact in lots of ways. I can't wait till the painting and decorating is done and I can start putting everything back together again, room by room. All the spending to be done will be part of the plan and specifically saved for as well as being needed. We might have to compromise on some things, but as long as we have everything we need and the rubbish and clutter is gone I will be happy.Feb 2014 to now

Just been on a focused shopping trip with OH. We both needed a pair of shoes and he also needed a couple of shirts. So a lovely day was had searching out some bargains and having lunch out. My shoes had £10 off and I found a fleece that had been £99, but I got it for £19. OH found a couple of shirts and received a £20 off a next purchase and his shoes were half price! So a successful trip and felt so much better because we knew what we wanted and the amount of money we wanted to spend and actually saved more than half of it! No guilt feelings and no 'shall I, shan't I'. MSE training is so good!
Decluttering is also going well. Not finished by any means, but well on the way and the mind change towards possessions is also due to support from MSE. I now need to get a mind set change towards eating, weight loss, exercise and fitness...slow but sure. You can't do it all at once, can you!Feb 2014 to now

It was, Bobarella! And so not stressful like normal! Well, I've been decluttering and tidying today. Taken a leaf out of Konmarie and organised my socks etc by rolling them up and separating them. Keeping only those that are worthy. Who would have thought MSE would have had this effect on me! Lol!Feb 2014 to now

So, another day of decluttering and tidying. Also eb@ying. There's a few things I can put up to increase the funds. Decorating is still not finished, but OH has now actually started with the painting. It is the slowest decorating job in the world. We are next on the list for the garden work apparently, so, hopefully that should get going in the next week or so. I'm not holding my breath, but at least things are happening. I must say I really like the hall empty, so all the surplus furniture is going to the auction. Can't wait for payday...feeling a bit skint. Ten days to go. Will I ever get to the point where I can spread out my available cash evenly?Feb 2014 to now

First day off under new working regime and it feels a bit strange! But I'm sure I'll quickly get used to it. As I thought, the payroll dept have not got the pay etc sorted out in time, so there will be under or overpayments. I knew they would muck it up! So I'm now waiting to see what my next payslip says with the grand sum of £26.42 to last until 23rd. At least I have full food cupboards and a tank of petrol to keep me going. And I have a glorious day to make use of for ME!Feb 2014 to now
