Meeting went well. I can go to four days, it's all agreed! Sorting it out today to start from after Easter. Brilliant! More days for ME! Ha!
Decorating is going well too. On schedule to be finished by the end of next week, then the garden is getting sorted.
On the finance front, I have a review with N*wd to do this week, then just keep paying up as agreed on everything until the next one is due in Sept. Saving is going OK. The emergency pot has grown and will hopefully be at £750 at the end of the month. Didn't have much success recouping cash from DDs, but when they pay up that's going in the emergency fund as well. Aiming for it to be £1000 by the end of April.
Just want to get rid of this nasty lingering cough...Feb 2014 to now

Well done on the reduced hours HB
!! If you've checked the pensions position it has to be a winner
!!
These payment reviews (can't work out who is the predator there) are pure formalities - they can be paid what they can reasonably have with an I&E can't they? It just took me a while to 'get' this
Once I did 'get' this the last year has been so much less stressful!

Thanks. All is going well. Brogden, you are doing amazing with the pay offs! Wow! As soon as I get the chance I'm going to take a leaf out of your book and have a go myself.
Feeling much better now and almost back to my normal self. Got some time to myself this weekend too, so enjoying the peace!Feb 2014 to now

Thanks HB
I have to accept that I will not be debt free for a long time but without getting my knickers in a twist will hopefully bin the odd blighter now and then as I go along. I have to think about mortgage/pensions too.
It sounds as though you have got through that bad period (I suppose mine was about a year) which follows LBM to accepting it and working positively to sort it.
I am so pleased about the way you feel :T

So just checked CC statement from N@wide and found that a late payment fee and interest of more than the payment I made added on. Cue quick phonecall to ask why this has occurred when I had a letter to say a payment plan had been agreed? Much toing and froing with them finally agreeing to remove the interest and charges, but saying that I had to have another review before a further payment plan could be agreed. I politely and firmly told them to find the phone call from last September and review it because the person I spoke to then agreed a review would not be necessary until Aug 2015 as long as I keep paying the agreed amount...which I have. They are going to do this and get back to me next week. I won't hold my breath. I also want to know from them why, after sending me a default notice in September 2014, this has not been marked on my credit file. Instead there are AA markers. If I have a dated default notice from them in writing, surely they can't do this? I shall be putting all this in writing again. No wonder people get fed up trying to sort stuff out themselves...
