Thank you so much, everyone. I'm amazed at how many people are interested in following my 'get out of debt' journey. Well, I'm just finishing off a few jobs before finally settling down to enjoy my Christmas. Family have started to arrive, so happiness levels are on the up. Looking back to this time last year, I am a million miles away from the over spending, credit card bashing, keeping up appearances person I was then. I'm really pleased with how I've done this year and know I will never go back to the old money wasting ways. Anyway, onwards and upwards as Broggers would say! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. Have fun.
HB signing off now till after the festivities. Xx

Ooooh! I've been name-checked :rotfl:!! You may not read this for a while HB if you are partying but have a lovely time with the family and look forward to us all catching up after the festivities :) !!

I'm aiming not to buy anything else till jan 2015! Ha! I will make it. Third NSD coming up. Aiming to make it 12 on the trot. Buffer fund started and going up!
Hope you're all having a great time x

  • Hoping to have a quiet day today. Have spent everyday since Christmas Eve in the kitchen, so want to stay out of it today. Food going well. No waste up to now, which is a big improvement on previous years.
Going to chill with my box of chocs and binge watch Breaking Bad or something on Netflix.
Updated signature and replaced mortgage overpayments with NSD. More realistic expectations...

Over 10 and 11% paid off HB, well done :). When will the first debt be paid off - that's when you'll start to really see progress :T.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)
