I'm making some for my niece and nephews tomorrow, I always wondered what the white line was made of, and now I know, why I always thought it tasted best when it was just flour and water I dunno!

I'm tempted to put food colouring into mine and do pink crosses!

how early can I sneak out before its reeeeaaaaallly obvious?

I don't like 'normal' hot cross buns as I don't like currants and stuff, but they always smell lovely. Am determined to give these ones a go but it's proper baking, with yeast and everything... will see how it goes!

I too was surprised this morning to read what the crosses were made of lol. I suppose I've never really given it any thought before

Reckon I can last till 4 at the latest.

Okay, so have had a bit of a mishap. Dog tripped me up chasing a cat on our walk this afternoon so have busted hands, face and, more importantly, fell flat out on concrete. I'm so upset. I've been so careful this last week to take it easy
