Official Trying to Conceive - Thread 11

Hi MaddyWaddy

We were away from Sat 29th Mar to Weds 2nd April so only 4 nights but it was terrible.

I had a friend who was in Fuerteventura 2 weeks before me and she had the awful weather too - seems like we've all just been a bit unlucky but fingers crossed for next time.

Leaving work in 10 mins to get over to the Reflexology session at 6pm - can't wait!

Hello everyone.

Going to the clinic tomorrow for my scan to see how my follicle is after the Clomid. Didn't have too many side effects, bad headache and a few hot flushes but nothing too bad. Had quite a lot of AF type aching, currently sat with a hot water bottle on my tummy, but i've hoping all of this are signs that the Clomid has worked! Fingers crossed!

Gelly - hope you don't mind me asking but how does the reflexology help? What sort of things do they do? It sounds intriguing.

Maddy - trying not to drive myself insane but I'm pretty pants at it! FX for you this month.

Princess Kate - hope your follicle is tip top tomorrow!

AFM - hubby and I have finally finished our SMEP efforts with our "one for luck" BD. Poor Hubster is shattered and I'm not far behind him. We almost didn't do the one tonight but then both decided we'd feel bad if we got a BFN and knew we hadn't followed things 100%. At least this way if we do get a BFN we at least know we did all we could. Now just to wait it out and see what happens. Luckily we've got hubby's son staying with us for 2 weeks over the school holidays so that should help to keep me distracted!

The !!!!!! cycle has finished bang on 28 days since my ERPC, So its back to this trying to conceive marlarky, I have the extra strength dose folic acid at the ready. We have decided to NTNP for the next 3 months as we both need to enjoy life again. Hopefully all my stress will just melt away by then.


Fingers crossed to everyone who needs them.

Well so far I've made it to 9DPO and I said I won't test until 12 days but I don't think I'm going to make it that far. I'm getting some cramps today and the usual pre-AF symptoms, so I'm expecting she will show her ugly face in the next 24 hours.

Hope the rest of you are doing okay, well done on your epic BD timing wegle x

Evening all.

No news here. Literally none. as in I am now on CD30 and haven't had a positive opk even though I've tested every day for 3 weeks. Have tried to do lots of BD'ing but didn't have much of an idea of when to aim for.

Sounds pathetic but finding it hard having sex so often, DH and I just don't have that high a sex drive and the fun is going out of it to be honest. Hence why I wanted to try the opk's...

Going on holiday on Saturday. I will be packing lots of tampons.
