I would make an appointment with your doctor to discuss it, but it wouldn't be that urgent (if your pill runs out on boxing day, the earliest you could be PG would be a couple of weeks after that, and obviously, if you weren't planning you wouldn't even have that much warning)

I would start taking PG vitamins (you can get special 'conception' ones but they're pretty much the same just a whole heap more expensive) if you aren't already :-)

Those with * sometimes uses conceive plus/preseed.

Thanks for the reply, and the welcome I'll make an appt for the New Year and get some PG vitamins next time I'm in shops.

I told my doctor I was trying during another appointment but he didn't say much about it!

blueneleh can we have an update? I'm hoping for Santa to be delivering you an early present!

I just stood up to go to the toilet and I feel drunk! I've not had any alcohol since Sunday night. Not really tracking this month anyway. I'm going to buy myself a 2015 diary for my cycle tracking because the apps do my head in!

Hi all newbies and sorry to hear about the BFN's.

Lulu - not much to update here. Not been on here much as I've given up on a BFP this month as I think we were too late and didn't want to start symptom spotting! No brown cm yet and no spots on face (usual signs of AF) but still got 3 days to go so plenty of time yet for them to burst forth

Sorry about AF Cherry - at least you can go mad at Christmas!

aww shucks, blue, I was hoping I'd see a sneaky BFP Not much to report here either. Packed my stuff ready to go to my mums and I've got so much booze

I probably won't be on much this week so to everyone I hope you have wonderful Christmases. Let your hair down and enjoy the holiday. Hopefully we'll see some New Year BFPs xxx

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE LADIES.... I had a dream I was CD1 last night, was convinced when I woke up that AF would have come, but no. Might be OV a bit late today -.- stupid messed up cycles

I hope father christmas brings you all lots of lovely BFPs :-D or lots of lovely BDing if not (not WITH father christmas.... that's creepy...)

I'm oddly kind of excited to be thinking that the earliest we'll succeed is next year now, bc I know a friend who last I heard was going to start TTC in Jan, and it would be cool :-)

Hello people! Newbie here! Last month was our first "proper" TTC month, by doing the deed every day for 10 days over the various dates as advised by different websites. No luck this time but will keep trying for a few months before investing in some more technical techniques.......

I have a feeling I'm going to struggle, I know a lot of people say that but my main reasons are, that 1) my periods changed about a year ago from a 28-33 day cycle with the bleeding changing from 6 days to 2-3 days......
And also 2) my Mum struggled TC with me, I think it took her two years.

Here's hoping in worrying about nothing.
If we succeed it will be my first (I'm 33 next month) but my DH has two girls from a previous relationship.
