Just came back from seeing Russell Howard in Birmingham, which was amazing.

In the encore he does a Q&A and this guy asked him for an arm wrestle. Turns out it was preplanned so this guy could propose to his girlfriend! Oh it was so lovely I've told OH that I want him to do that when we go and see Mrs Brown's Boys next year - my engagement definitely needs to involve Mammy!

Hope everyone is sorted for Christmas? Hugs to those in the 2WW and hopefully there's a lot of Christmas BDing under the mistletoe!

Hey Ladies!

Sorry I've been AWOL, Mr P and I have both been poorly, and what with starting the new job and all, it's not been a great month for TTC. I would say by temp monitoring that I'm 4DPO which is about a regular cycle atm, but, that being said, I didn't feel it on the day (yes, I'm one of the weird ones who feels it)

So I'm not holding out much hope for this month really... BD-ing will involve time when Mr P and I can both stop coughing...(yes we tried... yes he nearly passed out because of it... whoops! :$)

Sorry you have a bfn tatabubbly. I am doing my best not to poas, I know it would be a bfn if I got my ov date right as its both too early to show anything and if I did get the right date we didn't dtd at the right time. feeling a bit rubbish about it today. Probably pmt! We are also well stocked with alcohol lulu, also avoiding that just in case! Fingers crossed mrsp, at least you tried, my oh refused because of his cold.

Hi all

Complete newbie to this thread. I will read through the guide at the start of this thread over Xmas. My OH and I want to start trying once my current pill packet runs out (on Boxing Day!). We are not in a rush, if it happens it happens.

Do I need to make a pre-pregnancy appt with my Dr? I take one prescription item, a nasal spray, which I can't find out for definite if I should still take it whilst trying...? Could a pharmacist tell me rather than a GP? My GP won't be open now until after xmas and can be really awkward to get appts in, plus it's an hour from my place of work so not easy to get to! I am overweight, but have already lost 2 stone in the last 5months. but want to lose more if I can.

Sorry to ramble/ask lots, never been in this situation before, and at the moment I don't want to ask any friends for advice.
